HUC September Update

Congratulations to all the teams that qualified for regionals! We’ve got an exciting month coming up with Fall League starting and our second Disc Golf tournament next month. Be sure to check them out below!

I also wanted to note that we are paying particular attention to the Delta variant and will be vigilant in making sure our events aren’t contributing to its spread. We plan to follow USAU’s lead and will let you know as things change.

Community Spotlight – Emilie Garnier!

My name is Emilie, I’ve been volunteering with HUC since I moved to Houston. I’ve been the Women’s Representative, the HUC president and now the VP of Sponsorships. I love being involved in HUC because of the number of players we have an impact on. Every league and event we put on reminds me of how big our community is. I love bringing new players into it and seeing others have fun playing ultimate. I’m really excited about the direction HUC is going in and I encourage everyone who wants to help out to reach out to us and see how you can get involved!
