Save the date, TBUF is scheduled for May 7th, 2022. We’re limiting teams to 32 from the traditional 48 to improve the experience, so sign up early and there will be some changes due to Covid (no alcohol provided) to comply with Galveston rules, but we’ll communicate those as they arise.
Important Details:
When: May 7th, 2022
Time: 10:00 to 5:00
Where: East Beach. 1923 Boddeker Rd. Galveston, TX. 77550
Team Size: 12 player max
Format: There will be a 2/2 division and possibly a 3/1 division.
Food: Pizza lunch at 1, water (we’ll have some, please bring your own though to minimize touching), no snacks
Parking: 2021 was $15.00/car. Please carpool and bring cash. Cars will be directed to park on the east side of the Pavilion.
What’s the difference between the 2 divisions? 2/2 is 2 male identifying players and 2 female identifying players on the field at a time, 3/1 is 3 male identifying players and 1 female identifying player. While this is a fun tournament and we allow teams some discretion with the rules, teams in the 2/2 division can not be forced to play with 3/1 ratios.
Park Rules
– No glass
– Dog allowed if on a leash
– No camping
– No open fires
Alcohol Policy
Must be 21 or older to drink, no glass allowed.
Gear
If your team does not have jerseys, we encourage you to bring a dark and white. Also, cleats are a MUST! Even though we are on the beach, the sand is hot and there may be some loose debris. For safety reasons, we highly recommend all players wear cleats. Also, please walk out your field before your first game just to make sure it’s free of debris.
And yes, it is HOT and SUNNY!!! Please do not forget to bring sunscreen, umbrellas, and hats.

Good afternoon! Excited for this tournament but have a quick question regarding the two divisions. Having a guaranteed 2/2 division but only a possibility of a 3/1 division makes it very difficult to know how to fill out a roster when signing up for 3/1. We have three ladies which is more than enough for a 3/1 division but would be difficult with a mandatory 2/2. Those ratios are very different since with a 2/2, a 6/6 roster would be best while 3/1 a 9/3 roster would be ideal. How likely is it we will actually be required to run 2/2?
