About the Coaching Certification Program
Houston Ultimate Community, USA Ultimate and the Ultimate Foundation have partnered to provide teachers and community leaders with FREE Youth Ultimate Coach training and certification and membership to USA Ultimate for 1 year!
The Youth Coaching Certification Course focuses on coaching philosophy, establishing a program and fundamentals of coaching Ultimate Frisbee. If you sign up for the program, you will participate in and receive:
- 4.5 Hours of virtual training
- 1 Yr Membership to USA Ultimate
- Coaching Certificate once completed
- Online Coaching Resources
- Official Ultimate Discs with Disc Bag and Clipboard
Houston Youth Ultimate provides coaches with additional support throughout the year with our coaching clinics and Professional Development. Coaches are asked to create programming in their classes or community (school, neighborhood, etc). HUC will provide support along the way!
Eligibility
To register and receive the free membership, coaching course and equipment, you must complete our interest form and be able to complete all of the requirements by December 15, 2025. Once registered, participants must complete all of the training materials and to be eligible to take the certification exam.
